Career Opportunity

The Lead Windows Software Engineer will be a key member of the software development engineering team that rapidly develops desktop and handheld software. The Lead Windows Software Engineer shall be responsible for performing the following:

• Producing commercial consumer/shrink-wrap software that have professional and attractive UI
• Leading a team of software developers
• Advance Microsoft Windows software development
• Working cooperatively with others, including managers and staff at other locations

Qualifications

• In depth Microsoft Windows software development expertise required
• Ability to rapidly prototype user experiences and application mock-ups
• 5 or more years of commercial consumer/shrink-wrap software development required
• Proven ability to lead a team of creative software engineers in developing cutting-edge commercial software
• Must be a User Experience expert with ability to produce professional and attractive UI's
• Must have expertise with Visual Studio and supporting development tools
• Must have the ability to create professional installation packages for the MS Windows platform
• Must possess excellent problem-solving skills as well as solid organizational skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working alone and/or with a team of others
• Experience with data synchronization is a plus
• Knowledge of media file formats, codecs and compression is a plus
• Knowledge of handhelds and their operating systems - iPhone, Palm OS, Windows Mobile (Pocket PC/Smartphone), Blackberry, and Symbian is a plus
• DDK experience is a plus
• Experience with network service coding is a plus
• Experience as an architect is a plus
