The Missing Sync for Symbian Features
When you're on the go, take important information with you — your schedule, contacts and documents. Plus, bring photos, music and videos along. And when you return, your data automatically synchronizes with your Mac — wirelessly.
Automatically synchronize your information wirelessly
The Missing Sync for Symbian is the first Mark/Space product to feature Proximity Sync™ technology. This new approach to synchronization uses Bluetooth technology to sync data automatically when your phone and Mac are with 30 feet of one another. You don't need to remember to sync ever again. When your mobile phone is within range of your Mac, Proximity Sync will connect via Bluetooth technology and synchronize the correct information.
Keep your contacts, calendar and tasks with you
Wherever you go your most important information goes with you. The Missing Sync for Symbian reliably synchronizes Address Book and iCal with your Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola and other Symbian OS devices.
Take your files and documents with you
Handheld applications like Quickoffice and Adobe Reader LE allow you to view and edit Microsoft Office Word and Excel documents and PDF files right on your mobile device. The Missing Sync makes it practical to bring folders of documents and files with you.
Play music and listen to podcasts and audiobooks
Relax with your favorite tunes, catch up on your podcast episodes or listen to a classic novel. The Missing Sync for Symbian works with iTunes, transferring your playlists of music, podcasts and audiobooks to your mobile phone.*
Travel with a mobile photo album and personal movie theater
Photos and movies of family and friends are as near as your mobile phone. Albums and photos are transferred from iPhoto to your device for viewing anytime. The Missing Sync transfers your videos and automatically resizes them to fit your mobile screen.*
Transfer pictures and video to your Mac
The camera in your Symbian OS smartphone lets you snap photos, and on some models, record video. Transfer pictures you take and video you shoot to your Mac, into iPhoto or a folder of your choosing.
Do more with your text messages and call history
The Missing Sync for Symbian archives your SMS text messages and call history to your Mac, where you can do more with them. View and search your archive with the included Mark/Space SMS Log and Call Log applications. Export your messages and call log to other applications to compile an expense report, create a digital journal, track your time — your text messages and call log are available for you to use any way you like.
Take full advantage of the features of your mobile phone
Most feature-rich Symbian OS smartphones are supported, including the Nokia N95 (and other Nokia Nseries phones) and Nokia E61 (and other Nokia Eseries phones). The Missing Sync for Symbian enhances the multimedia, business and productivity capabilities of phones from Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Motorola by connecting them to a Mac.
